Pretty in Pink?

I have never been a "pink" person...maybe it was because I grew up with a sister who lived in a Pepto Bismo pink room with lots of pink flowers!! When I found out we were having a girl I made it quite clear that this little girl would wear no pink! Well once again I learned I am not in charge as Scarlett came with blue eyes and looks the cutest in pink!! I have to laugh everytime I look in her closet or open one of her drawers and see pink everything! Seth and I decided that we would get Scarlett a swing. I went to Babies R Us to look at them one afternoon. I found myself actually buying the swing that was pink because it was pink! I actually thought it was the cutest one!! So funny how things turn out, I have a little girl that does look pretty in pink!

Splish Splash Scarlett is taking a Bath

Scarlett and I were so excited when her cord finally fell out because it meant full body bath time! She loves her baths she kicks and kicks and floats her arms out to her sides like a little angle. It is so fun to wash her hair she leans her head back and closes her eyes! Bath time is deffinately one our favorite parts of the day.

I Love This Little Body

I love this little girl!! Her baby body is so cute, I think that we have a picture of all of her very cute parts.

I keep telling her that this is the only time in her life where chub rolls are sooo cute!

The Aunties

Scarlett loves her aunties, and her aunties love her!!

At the Hospital

We took a lot of pictures of Baby Scarlett at the hospital!! We couldn't help ourselves....we thought she was the cutest little girl we had ever seen!! She was so small laying in her hospital bed. Seth and I could not believe how spectaular was she was and spent most of our time watching her every move!!

Scarlett and I spent two nights in the hospital and were every excited to go home! Driving home with our new baby was the most nervous I have ever been in a car! I think I told Seth to slow down every few minutes!! I think Seth was really glad when we pulled into the driveway!!

Announcing Miss Scarlett

Scarlett Helgeson was born on November 1 2006. She was 7lbs 10ozs and 19 1/2 inches long!

She was born with a very cute V shaped "stork bite" on her forhead. We think it gives her personality! She is a beauitful baby and we are so glad she is happy, halthy and here!!
