Jolly Swinging!!

I put the Jolly Jumper up today in the doorway of my bedroom and let her swing while I was doing laundry!! She is not heavy enough to actually jump so for now it works as a pretty good swing. She swung happily for about 40 minutes! It was wonderful! The doll she is riding with has become one of her favorite toys these days! So funny she laughs at her and sucks her face. I think that is what she thinks you are suppose to do to a baby because that is what we do to her, kiss and kiss her face!!

8 Months

I was getting Scarlett ready for bed when I realized we forgot to take 8 month pics, so we took them in our PJs!! I gracefully bowed out of these night time pics and once again let dad and baby star in them!! Scarlett is sitting very well on her own now and
loves to play on the floor with her toys. She scoots around and gets to the toy she wants...so cute!! She is starting to get herself in the crawling position but crawling is still a few weeks away. She is soo happy these days and is doing such good sleeping!! Seth and I are big fans of the new sleeping thing, she sleeps for five or six hours at a time and does so in her own bed!! Yea!! She also seems to be eating better and has grained an impressive six ounces this week!! I think we are finally getting somewhere!!

For Aunt Karlea

While we were in California Miss Scarlett had a little accident. It was a very unpleasant event that I think scared both moms. Anyways look at my face Aunt Karlea, its looking pretty darn good! When we see you for Connors big day they will for sure just be a memory!! Thank heavens! Although nothing could mess up something so spectacular as Miss Scarletts face!!

I was looking through our blog tonight and realized I hardly exist! It was hard to even find a picture of me and Miss Scarlett as I am usually taking the pictures!! I think it is time to go through moms pictures!! I found one and thought I would put it up!!

"Posing" in the Sun

Seth had alot of fun at the beach!! It was almost as if he had never been. We played with Matthew in the sand and build amny little sand villages that evenually got distroyed by evil waves!! I tried to take some pictures of him playing in the sand but as you can see he did silly poses!

Beach Babies

We took alittle family trip to visit the California people. We had lots of fun playing with the babies and Matthew. We spent Saturday at the beach playing in the ocean. So fun!! While we were there we also went to Wahoos, a few times, and spent one day at an outdoor park feeding ducks and playing in the beauitful California weather!!
